WYLAX was founded six years ago by three parents interested in providing lacrosse for their children and in promoting lacrosse in the District. The effort was partially in response to difficulties District players experienced in joining Maryland and Virginia teams. The league offers both fall and spring play and has grown to 350 players, comprising roughly 15 teams each spring season.

While we are proud of our success, growth and continued success depend on volunteers. We are always looking for help in coaching and managing teams.
